Tallahassee, Florida Senior Photographer/Nicole Everson Photography
Being a Tallahassee, Florida Senior Photographer has its perks and hanging out downtown is definitely one of them. This location is absolutely gorgeous! This city has fabulous trees and beautiful bricked walkways, making this a very aesthetic place to photograph. I did this grad’s portraits on Monroe Street. She was super fun and sassy, which made for a fun time.
Although this grad was so shy at first, when she decided to trust me, she relaxed. Her movements were smooth and I was super impressed with how she posed for me. It was like she had done some modeling before!
We had so much fun going all around downtown. The portraits I took of her took in the garden park on Monroe Street are some of my absolute favorites. The garden is a cool place to do senior portraits because the lighting is amazing and the scenery is dreamy. There are plenty of trees and gorgeous places to sit, making my job as an artist fun. This city is naturally beautiful, and I am never disappointed with the amazing backdrops it has to offer.
It’s important to me as a senior photographer to make certain I am capturing the graduate’s personality. Whether the grad is introverted and shy or extroverted and bubbly, I want to make sure we have a good time. Having senior portraits taken is all about relaxing and being yourself. Your family will want to remember this moment for years to come, so making sure the graduate’s session is enjoyable is important. It makes me happy when my clients are comfortable around me and they can enjoy the photography process. I love showing the rest of the world how wonderful they are.
This girl’s style was so fun! She definitely rocked her outfits in all of the portraits. I was so impressed with the outfits she chose. I really liked her sunshiny outfit! Her sense of style was so cool to me.
I believe all graduates are awesome. I love it when I can capture the essence of just who they are, right at this moment in their story. Their style is a lot of the essence of who they are.
When choosing outfits for the graduate’s portraits, make sure they have a say in the process. What they will wear for the portraits is important because it helps them relax and feel like themselves. You want their style and personality to really show. This photography session is all about them and the person they are at this particular moment in time.
I enjoy meeting grads and hearing their story. Getting to be a part of making this season memorable is cool for me. I get to capture them at a landmark time. They are still a child but are quickly becoming an adult. They are still at home but are approaching a time when they will be on their own. It’s a time of shedding their childhood and gaining great adult responsibilities. Graduation is just a small step out into the world that is open to them. It’s so exciting to see each grad and think about the potential they have to impact the world in a positive way.
As a Tallahassee, Florida Senior Photographer, I love it when my clients follow up with me about how their graduate is doing. It’s even cooler when a graduate follows up with me themselves! It’s neat to hear how they are doing in college or in the job they chose. I love rooting for grads as they move ahead in life. They quickly learn the world is full of responsibilities they weren’t expecting, and that’s okay. That is part of growing up. I enjoy hearing about how they are taking on adult life. They make me so hopeful about the future.
The future decisions that lay ahead of these graduates are numerous. The life changes coming their way will come quickly and without warning sometimes. The next season for these grads will be full of opportunities and new experiences. The whole world is at their feet.
If you have a high school senior or if you are a soon-to-be college graduate, I’d love to work with you to capture this milestone! I enjoy doing senior photography and would love to do more. Photography of this kind is so personal and fun. If you would like to see more of my senior portraits, please check out on my page.
