Engagement photos are so incredibly special to me as a photographer. It is so much fun every session getting to know my future brides and grooms and discover what is special about their love story.

As a wedding photographer it is the first opertuniety I have to get to know you as a couple through my lens. Learn your sence of humor, what makes your future hubby get all sappy. What makes you blush. As a engagment photographer I am looking for so much more then just a prety photograph. I want to capture your connection.

Over the years your relationship will change. Children and age add a depth to your connection that words cannot describe. But this young joy is so pure and unblemished. Its what gets you through the struggles in life.

When Suzanne first called to book her wedding and engagement photography she was very open about how shy they are. But all Dan had to do was look into her beautiful eyes and he was lost.  All his nerves went away and you could see the feelings they have for each other. Seriously I think they are the sweetest couple I have ever photographed.

It brought me back to my 19 year old self, engaged to my amazing husband. I remember he would look at me and the world would melt away. On my wedding day, I cannot tell you what my vowes were. I was smiling so hard my face hurt, and all I wanted to do was kiss this amazing man I was about to marry.

I am so excited for Suzanne & Dan’s wedding in Enterprise Alabama, we had so much fun during their engagement portraits, and I just bet their wedding is going to be full of love and laughter… The weather treated to rain on us all day, but praise the Lord the sky cleared up for us, and we had beautiful lighting for this downtown Dothan engagement photoshoot.. I loved this session so much it was hard to just pick a few to share.. <3
