I had such a wonderful time with this beautiful family! They are on vacation from the beautiful state of Texas and I was excited to show them the amazing Florida beaches! I’d have to say the best part of being a photographer is being a family beach photographer! I get to showcase the stunning views we have and mix in the gorgeousness of my clients! It was also great to see this wonderful family again. Watching clients grow in their families is always the best part of my job!

How to Prepare for Your Family Photo Shoot

Destin, Florida is a great place to photograph sessions. Light is essential to getting the perfect family portraits. For this reason I will meet my clients near sunset, or at sunrise. It always makes for amazing skies and happy kids! If there is anything I can’t recommend enough to families vacationing in Florida-it’s to get your photos taken at one of the beaches! Choosing your outfits are another important aspect for your session. Coordinating is recommended by picking 2-4 colors and having everyone wearing different outfits. Have mom pick her outfit that she loves first and then the whole family can pick their choices from there. That old saying, “If Mama’s happy, everyone’s happy” really rings true!
