Defuniak Springs Florida Wedding Photographer

One of the best things about being a Defuniak Springs Florida Wedding Photographer is how stunning Defuniak Springs is!!! This beautiful town has it all! From a beautiful historic downtown. to amazing fields and countryside. and my personal favorite is the amazing lake Defuniak!!! Oh man, I was in photography heaven when this beautiful bride told me her reception was on the lake in Defuniak!

Every little detail of this elegant southern wedding was perfection. The lovely evening light that came through the stain glass windows at First United Methodist church was so ethereal and romantic. The historic feel of the town of Defuniak around the church made the perfect backdrop for all the formal portraits. But best of all was the reception at the family property around the Lake. The trees were dripping with lanterns and vintage floral vases full of delicate flowers. Everything about this wedding was perfection.

But the real magic was when the sun went down over lake Defuniak. This wedding reception was a PARTY! They had the best wedding band, and the dance floor was always packed. In my 10 years of being a wedding photographer, I think this family had the best dance moves on the dance floor! Their wedding band flew in from Atlanta and kept the party going.

Some couples are more comfortable with showing affection in public than others, and that is totally fine with me. I have zero desire to just take a pretty picture for everyone else to enjoy. My goal is to photograph you and what makes YOUR love so special. Sometimes that’s lots of snuggles and kisses, and other times its lots of laughter. Whatever is real is what inspires me.
