I first met this family a few years ago when I did Big Brother newborn photos, so I was so excited when they called to tell me baby brother was on the way. I adore this sweet family. And I am so honored I was chosen to capture such a special time in their lives.
Mom did not have any color requests. She trusted my judgment, so I got to play with all my favorite newborn photography props. We started off white for the family newborn photos. I LOVE doing family and sibling pictures during a newborn session. Then I pulled out this deep navy blue that is epic. Baby boy did so good for me I was able to do my neutral and even a green newborn set up for him.
I often get asked what my favorite color or setup is for newborns. And after doing this for 17 years, I have to say a light neutral set is always going to be my favorite. It allows the focus to remain on the baby and not on the background.
