Sweet baby Emma is one of the sweetest babies I’ve ever photographed. It might be because I love her momma so much. But man this baby girl has a big piece of my heart. Emma is one of my grow with me babies. I have loved photographing her throughout her first year of life. I got pretty emotional when we finished her session. It crazy how much I bond with my babies. And just how fast the first year goes by.

We went to my favorite local filed for Emma’s one year portraits. She was a total princess in that adorable bed prop and she knew it!! A total ham through and threw!! We finished up her session back in the studio with a smash cake session!!!

You never know how a baby is going to respond to a smash cake session.. Some babies go crazy and love making a mess. Other babies get their hands dirty with icing and loose their mind!! But most babies are somewhere in between. Emma was a rockstar as expected.. She loves her cake and even saved a piece for me to try.
