Cannon | Florida newborn photographer

newborn photographer

I just love being a newborn photographer! Over the last 10 years, I have had the pleasure of meeting so many amazing people through my photography.

It’s crazy to think those first few babies I photographed are now in the 5th grade!

How is that for making me feel old! hahaha

I consider it an honor when someone books me to be their newborn photographer. It takes a lot of trust for a new mom to hand her 7-10 day old newborn over to a complete stranger. This is not lost on me. I count it as the biggest compliment that many of my new moms take a nap while I snuggle with their infant.

What I love the most about life as a photographer is how close I am able to get with my clients.

I knew I would love Amy from the first time we chatted.

Amy has a smile that can light up any room. And was beaming with love and joy for her husband and baby on the way.

I had so much fun doing her maternity pictures in Tallahassee. These two lovebirds had me cracking up the entire photo shoot!

But as much fun as their maternity session was I have to admit I had more fun snuggling with Cannon during his newborn pictures. As a mom of three little girls, there is always something special when I get to photograph a baby boy.

Cannon was quite a fighter and had his own ideas about how he wanted his newborn portraits to go. But like always I won in the end.

I’m not sure I can pick a favorite pose for this baby session.

I melt over Cannon in that grey bear bonnet.

But really is anything cuter than a naked baby?

I was so excited to photograph this little man in his daddies hands. Growing up with cop parents I have always had so much respect for them. It is not lost on me that these brave men and woman put their lives on the line every day to keep me and my children safe. So next time you see a police officer tell him thank you, or pick up his dinner.
